Vision of the Global Villages

This essay was originally written as a contribution to the days of Utopia in St.Arbogast/Austria in 2003. It is a programmatic document as well as the attempt of a description of the reality that can be achieved if we move Open Source concepts further towards the decentralization of life and the empowerment of small businesses, settlements and communities. It starts with theoretical reflections and transforms into a time travel report...into a future village.
